Preeti Prerna Foundation to Host PREETOTSAV 2025 – A Festival of Love & Compassion in Education

Mumbai, September 2025: The Preeti Prerna Foundation proudly announces PREETOTSAV 2025 – A Festival of Love & Compassion in Education, to be held on 8 November 2025, from 3:00 PM onwards at Mukti Cultural Hub, Andheri West, Mumbai.

The festival is envisioned as a vibrant celebration of creativity, talent, and the performing arts, bringing together students, educators, and art enthusiasts. A central highlight will be UDGHOSH – The Nukkad Natak Competition, where school teams from across Mumbai will perform thought-provoking street plays on themes of Love and Compassion.

Themes for UDGHOSH

Participating teams may choose from the following socially relevant themes: Love and Peace in a World of Conflict

Empathy towards the Underprivileged and Marginalized

Compassion towards the Environment and Nature

Compassion in the Digital Age – Beyond Screens

Love for the Elderly and Forgotten Voices

The competition aims to not only showcase young talent but also reward excellence in performance:

Team Awards

1st Prize: ₹21,000 + Trophy + Certificates

2nd Prize: ₹15,000 + Trophy + Certificates

3rd Prize: ₹11,000 + Trophy + Certificates

Individual Awards

Best Actor (1st): ₹11,000 + Trophy + Certificate

Best Actor (2nd): ₹8,100 + Trophy + Certificate

Emerging Talent Awards

Jury Panel

The competition will be evaluated by a distinguished jury:

Following the festival, the Foundation will also curate two immersive residency workshops at Igatpuri, Maharashtra – the Theatre Residency Workshop and the Film Residency Workshop (23–26 January 2026), offering young artists hands-on training and mentorship in performing and visual arts.

About Preeti Prerna Foundation

Founded by Mr. Prashant Negi in loving memory of Ms. Preeti Prashant (1986–2022), the Foundation is dedicated to nurturing academic, cultural, emotional, and spiritual well-being among students. Its past initiatives include the Preeti Prerna Puraskar 2024 – a pan-India literary talent hunt with 300 entries, Happiness Sharing Day with differently-abled and underprivileged children, creative writing workshops, community outreach programs, and online sessions on emotional well-being and goal-setting.
